This logo is designed by ChrisB. The logo is an exploration of the relationship between the therapist and the client.

The Therapist, like a good enough mother, is always providing a safe space for the client to explore themselves. The client is exploring their true self or their inner child during the therapy session and in the art making. Our inner child and true essence is always a part of who we are and our identity. The inner child and the most vulnerable part of us only can be seen when there is a safe and trusted space for them to open up.

In Spiritual Direction, this is also a sacred space where we listen to the leading of the Spirit. The Spiritual Director acts as a midwife, holding this trusted, non-judgmental space with holy hospitality, waiting for new awakenings to the presence of God to be born.

As a Christian, ChrisB witnessed the transformation of her clients through God’s gentle work. When the client is able to connect with their true self and the essence of who they are, they are also longing for a deeper connection with the Divine. This is the core imagery of the logo. A safe place to reconnect the self where spiritual meets art.
