A Fallen Leaf

Sorrow kissed the sunlight
It is like breathing in a room
full of smoke
I stare at their movements
Light, feminine and fragile
Untouchable
as if they were just too vulnerable

Seeing my plant spouts a new leaf
A beginning
Didn’t notice that there is a life passing
A departure
We are supposed to celebrate the full cycle of life
I thought that aging has taught me
how to face all the sudden happenings

Butter slips away from my bread
Coffee became more bitter and bitter
They never told me
Life is a grieving journey
You once told me
Life makes us humble
when we connect to the creator and Mother Earth
You haven’t finished your stories yet
As you never shared enough your wisdom
Time is a mysterious knowing
It carries your past, love, stories, sorrows, and poems
to move forward

A fallen leaf told me
Life is not an answer
It is a moving air
under the sky
It is not necessarily knowing all parts of the journey
Sorrow will cultivate hope
Just like your stories
Falling into my heart and become stars
to shine through the nights
